"Pillow Girlfriend"

Remember the boyfriend arm-shaped pillows? Here comes the girlfriend arm+breast-shaped pillow for the guys.

Japanese bedding maker Aino Corp created the boyfriend version of the pillow early this year and has sold more than 8,000.

It launched the girlfriend version, which is actually the boyfriend pillow with a large breast, in the fall, and response has been good.

"The "girlfriend pillow" can be used as a replacement for a mother, grandmother, wife, and of course a girlfriend. We thought that this could be used by a wide range of people, both men and women from children to the elderly," said Seiko Sato, an Aino Corp representative.

The girlfriend pillow costs 9,800 yen ($93.98), a thousand yen more than the male version and negotiations are underway for the pillows to go on sale in Iceland, U.K, Canada and the United States.
